مهرجانات التمور في البحرين | Bahrain Date Festivals
تستضيف مملكة البحرين فعاليات موسمية مخصصة للاحتفاء بالتمور ومنتجات النخيل، من أبرزها مهرجان النخلة (Date Palm Festival) الذي يُقام في سوق المزارعين بهورة عالي، ويجمع المزارعين والعارضين من مختلف المناطق. يشمل المهرجان عروضاً لمختلف أصناف التمور المحلية، إلى جانب منتجات تراثية مرتبطة بالنخلة مثل الصناعات اليدوية، والمأكولات التقليدية. وتشارك في تنظيم هذه الفعالية مبادرة التنمية الزراعية الوطنية، حيث أصبح المهرجان من المحطات السنوية التي تسلّط الضوء على مكانة النخلة في المجتمع البحريني، وتتيح للزوار فرصة التعرف على ثراء الإنتاج المحلي.
The Kingdom of Bahrain hosts seasonal events dedicated to celebrating dates and palm-related products. Among the most prominent is the Date Palm Festival, held at the Farmers’ Market in Hoorat A’ali, which brings together farmers and exhibitors from across the country. The festival showcases a wide variety of local date varieties, as well as traditional palm-related products such as handicrafts and traditional foods. Organized in cooperation with the National Initiative for Agricultural Development, the festival has become an annual highlight, emphasizing the cultural significance of the palm tree in Bahraini society while giving visitors the chance to explore the richness of local production.
